- One of the saddest days of the year but also neccesary: the day I pack away the Christmas decorations. I’ve often tried to postpone this activity, but this year I want to be on time. And make room for other decorations according to the season.
- There’s always something to declutter in my home. And I love the feeling afterwards. Some people are real specialists when it comes to decluttering. Searching pinterest I found two declutter calendars with tasks for every day of 2013: My simpler life declutter calendar and Home Storage Solutions 101 declutter your home in 15 minutes a day calendar. If you think this is too much, try to declutter at least one kitchen cabinet or drawer this week.
- Have you ever thought of using a budget planner? I’ve started to work with an excel sheet two years ago and it is such a big help to stay on budget.
- I love short time craft projects like a scarf you knit within one weekend or a scowl that is finished after three or four hours. If you don’t have any idea check back later this week. I’m going to post an easy crochet granny stripe scowl pattern.
- Even if it might feel like New Year’s Eve is weeks away and the resolutions are already getting blurry: stay on track, do something to overcome your weaker self. Motivational books are a good way for me to release new energy. I do think of books like This Year I Will…
, This Year It Will Be Different
, or 5: Where Will You Be Five Years from Today?
.
- Sprouts like cress or Alfalfa are easy to grow at home, a great source for healthy vitamins in winter and a fun project for kids.
- One of my big goals for 2013 is to try at least 12 new kinds of fruits or vegetables. There are so many I’ve never tried or just aren’t part of my daily diet. It’s time to change this :)

I know the book “This year I will” – it is a good one! Another one that I can recommend is “The Success Principles” by Jack Canfield. If I were to recommend just one motivational/personal development book, that would be it!
I am in the middle of goal planning activities. Any good printables that you could recommend?

Concerning goals I only work with my planner. In other words there aren’t any specific printouts I can reccomend, but I’m sure you are able to find something on pinterest.
Anything to help with decluttering! Even though my house is not that messy, I always feel there is something to declutter. Really got to get one of those no junk mail signs for the post box. Like the motivational book recommendations – will check them out. xx
