Before I went to Hannover for the #bywstudio workshop I had prepared some yummy treats for my fellow bloggers: marshmallows dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes. I had enough to spare some for a cloak-and-dagger operation I had planned to do for a long time. You can call me Santa…Secret Santa.
My next-door neighbor is a very kind and patient person. To be honest it can’t be easy to have me as a direct neighbor: I blow-dry my hair at two a.m., sing aloud while I bake and I guess my bunnies tend to be noisy from time to time, too. But he never complains and so it was time for a little thank you.
Here’s the sad part of the story: When he found the tiny gift he knocked at my door, because he thought somebody had wanted to give it to me but accidentally chose the wrong door.
The happy end is: when he realized somebody…well, I had played Secret Santa for him, he grinned from ear to ear and couldn’t stop smiling. ♥
